“Beyond the Surface” is an immersive multimedia performance that invites the audience into a shared space of connection. Through four unfolding scenes inspired by Taiwanese cultural traditions and contemporary digital art, sound, light, bodies, and technology come together to shape a living environment. As the performance progresses, connections emerge through physical presence, movement, and human–technology interaction. The space itself becomes an active participant, responding to gestures, proximity, and attention. Rather than observing from a distance, the audience is invited to sense how connection is formed in real time, through being together, sharing space, and
experiencing what happens beneath and beyond the surface.
